Aviation experts will decide in the next two weeks which of two expansion plans to recommend at the San Antonio International Airport. Phase 2 of the airport's Strategic Development Plan will involve extending both runway 13 right and 13 left, or just 13 left. The two options are the finalists from among 91 original suggestions. The runway extension is part of a 20-year plan, and the addition of a new runway would be included in a 50-year plan. A six-year plan includes additional terminal gates and upgraded concessions.
