How satisfied you are with America's position in the world may depend on your partisan affiliation. A new Gallup poll finds that 53% of overall adults are satisfied with the country's standing in the world.
That's the highest mark in 17 years.
However, the partisan split is evident with 85-percent of Republicans saying they're content with the country's position in the world.
The same can't be said for Democrats as just 19% give the country high marks. Gallup says that 66 point gap between the parties is the largest it's ever seen.
