An election office error is responsible for hundreds of Bastrop County voters getting multiple mail-in ballots. County Elections Administrator Kristin Miles who said three mail-in ballots were mistakenly sent out to 484-voters, each. The error is being attributed to a county third party contractor. The report says only one ballot per person that is returned will be counted while any others arriving from the same voter will be discarded.
