Spirit Airlines is launching year-round, nonstop service to Cancún from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, with the first flight today.
Spirit has been flying out of Austin since last year, but this is the carrier's first international flight from Austin.
The low-cost airline also offers flights to Baltimore; Chicago; Denver; Detroit; Fort Lauderdale, Florida; Las Vegas; Los Angeles; New Orleans; and Orlando, Florida.
