Two mobile homes were destroyed in a blaze in northeast Bexar County. The fires started about 2 a.m. off Walzem Road near New World Drive.
As firefighters arrived, both mobile homes were already fully engulfed in flames and a third was threatened. Officials say the gusty winds caused the fire to jump from one home to the next. The wind also caused problems for firefighters fighting the blaze. An investigation is underway into what sparked the fire.
