Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders wants everybody to have free child care for their young ones.
The Vermont senator's plan released today would cover child care through the age of three. The program would then extend free all-day pre-K to children once they reach age three.
Sanders' wealth tax would pay for the proposal. A household with a net worth of more than 32 million dollars would pay a one-percent tax. Those with a net worth of over 10.1 billion dollars would have to pay an eight-percent tax.
