Astros Issue Public Apology For Cheating Scandal

The Houston Astros are apologizing for the 2017 sign-stealing scandal. Third baseman Alex Bregman told reporters today the team would work hard to regain the trust of baseball fans while noting he was sorry for the choices which were made. Second baseman Jose Altuve says the entire organization feels bad about the scandal. Team owner Jim Crane vowed it would never happen again on his watch. Major League Baseball suspended then Astros manager A.J. Hinch and then GM Jeff Luhnow for their roles in the cheating scandal. They were fired a short time later.
