New Braunfels police say a teenager is accused of killing his younger sister.
17-year-old Zachary Barrera allegedly shot his 16-year-old sister, Gabrielle Barrera, with a handgun. It happened on Saturday night in the 600 block of Sumner Circle.
Police have not released details surrounding the shooting, other than to say Barrera was taken into custody after several hours of interviews.
Barrera is being held in the Comal County jail with bond set at $250,000.
