The latest study from AAA Texas Weekend Gas Watch says gas prices in Texas may drop below $2 a gallon by next week. AAA reports that the statewide gas price average is $2.11, which is five-cents less than last week and 13-cents more than a year ago. Crude oil prices have fallen ten-dollars a barrel since the start of the year. Austin drivers are paying $2.12 a gallon, down five-cents from last week.
