Two people are detained on suspicion of stealing a car with a sleeping toddler inside. Police say a mother left the two-year-old in the running car while she stepped inside a 7-Eleven on Eisenhauer Road near I-35, and when she came back out, the car was gone. Officers found the car only about a block away from the store. Investigators say it looks like whoever took the car ditched it once they found out there was a baby on board. Police soon detained two people who were across the street at a motel.
