Joint Base San Antonio is planning a town hall forum this week to discuss the upcoming use of Lackland AFB as a coronavirus quarantine zone. The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and Secretary of Defense Dr. Mark Esper are working together to house a thousand people at Lackland who may have been exposed to the virus after traveling abroad. The quarantined passengers will be housed at the Gateway Villa and the Gateway Inn. JBSA will release more details about the upcoming forum later this week.
