A man in his 20's was walking alongside 281 near St. Mary's overnight when he was hit by a pickup truck. In the process the truck struck another car and spun out. The driver of the pickup fled the scene on foot and police were still searching for him Saturday morning. The driver of the other car was not hurt. The pedestrian died at the scene. Police are continuing to investigate.
