First Daughter Ivanka Trump is hosting a human trafficking summit today at the White House.
Attorney General Bill Barr said the Trump Administration has already taken steps to address the issue. Ivanka Trump says the issue is not just an international one. She says it happens in our own neighborhoods. Trump said her father has signed nine pieces of legislation into law that addresses human trafficking. She said her father has proposed an additional 42-million dollar increase in funding to address the issue. President Trump is scheduled to speak at the summit later today.
Attorney General Bill Barr said the D-O-J will continue to make human trafficking a priority.
