Gov. Greg Abbott is discussing with state health officials what to do about the coronavirus outbreak. Abbott met on Monday with Health and Human Services Commissioner Courtney Phillips, Department of State Health Services Commissioner John William Hellerstedt, and Emergency Management chief Nim Kidd for a briefing. The outbreak has killed more than 80 people so far in China. The CDC confirmed the first of several U.S. cases last week. Two Texas students, one at A&M and one at Baylor, were thought to be infected, but both tested negative.
