11 million people watched Tuesday's opening day of President Trump's impeachment trial in the Senate on television.
According to Nielsen ratings data, that's a smaller audience than the 13.4 million who tuned into the first day of the House impeachment investigation in November.
The impeachment trial in the Senate resumes today at 1 p.m. Eastern Time.
