Congressman Wants Probe Of MLB Cheating Scandal

An Illinois congressman is asking for a congressional oversight hearing into Major League Baseball cheating scandals. Following the punishments the league handed down for the Astros' sign-stealing scheme, Democratic Representative Bobby Rush on Friday requested the Committee on Energy and Commerce to probe MLB and find out whether it responded quickly and harshly enough. He says the Commerce Clause of the Constitution gives the committee oversight of major league sports.
