Gov. Greg Abbott is in Switzerland on an international business trip that will conclude when he attends the World Economic Forum this week. Abbott completed a trip to Israel on Friday, after meeting with entrepreneurs and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The goal was to strengthen business and cultural links between Texas and Israel. The 11-day trip wraps up with Abbott attending the 50th annual meeting of the World Economic Forum in the mountain resort of Davos. The Forum starts tomorrow. Abbott made a similar Israel-Switzerland trip in 2016. President Donald Trump will attend the Forum this year as well.
