A man walking across Fredericksburg Road was struck by a hit-and-run driver overnight. Police say the victim was in his 20's and was not in a crosswalk at the time. It's unclear whether there were any witnesses. The driver did not stop after hitting the victim and fled the scene. The incident happened in the 1100 block of Fredericksburg Road, near I-10. The victim was taken to University Hospital in serious condition. Police are continuing to investigate.
