The Senate is now in charge of the impeachment trial after formally receiving the articles of impeachment against President Trump. Later today Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts will be sworn in and then will immediately swear in the 100 senators to be the jury in the case. The President is accused of abusing the powers of his office and obstructing Congress. The trial is scheduled to begin on Tuesday.
