The so-called Killer Nurse will be spending the rest of her life in prison for the 1981 killing of a baby. Genene Jones entered the plea late this morning in Bexar County Court. The 69-year-old spent years in prison after being convicted in 1984 for killing a 15-month-old. Jones was set to be released from prison in 2018 due to a prison overcrowding law. She was indicted on new murder charges in 2017.
