Homeland Security Chief Touts Ongoing Construction Of Border Barriers

Significant progress is being made on construction of sprawling barriers on the U.S.-Mexican border. Acting Commissioner of Customs and Border Protection Mark Morgan says it's not just a wall.

Morgan goes on to say over 100 miles of new border barriers have been completed. He says the government is on track for another 450 miles by the end of this year. Morgan stressed that it is being done "smartly" and "on time." He argued that when border barriers go up, illegal crossings go down. Morgan says there will be more wall construction this year, and that they reached their prediction on wall building.
