PETA is taking aim at Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez over her brand new puppy.
After AOC showed off her new french bulldog on Instagram, PETA sent a letter accusing the Congresswoman of buying a purebred instead of adopting a dog from a shelter.
PETA then urged AOC to "consider setting the right example" for her followers by "adopting a mutt and encouraging them to do the same".
Ocasio-Cortez has not specified the breed of dog or whether it was purchased or adopted.
