Quincy Stewart named Sam Houston High School head football coach

Former San Francisco 49ers and New York Jets linebacker Quincy Stewart is now coaching football at Sam Houston High School in San Antonio. San Antonio ISD announced today Stewart will become the head coach at Sam Houston High. Stewart says his goal is to make sure the team excels in the playoffs. He played in the NFL for three seasons before winning the Grey Cup in the Canadian Football League with Edmonton in 2005. Stewart comes to Sam Houston from Duncanville High in North Texas where he was linebackers' coach.
