Protests Continue Outside U.S. Embassy In Baghdad

There's no let-up in tensions outside the U.S. embassy in Baghdad, where security forces fired tear gas at protesters today. Pro-Iran demonstrators had spent the night camped outside the embassy compound after militia members and their supporters stormed the grounds Tuesday. They broke into a reception area and lit flags on fire to protest U.S. airstrikes that killed two-dozen militia fighters Sunday 2020. More Marines were deployed to the embassy to keep things from spiraling further out of control.
