Health officials are reporting Dallas County's first vaping-related death. Dallas County Health and Human Services says the teenage patient was a Dallas County resident with a chronic underlying medical problem. Officials released no further information for purposes of patient confidentiality. As of Monday, there had been 53 reports of confirmed or probable cases of patients in Dallas County hospitals for vaping-related illnesses. A 17-year-old died in a Fort Worth hospital in August.
