Texans lose to Titans, prepare for playoffs

Derrick Henry ran for a season-best 211 yards and three touchdowns as the Titans defeated the Texans 35-14 in Houston to clinch the final AFC Wildcard berth. Henry led the NFL with 1,540 yards rushing. Ryan Tannehill threw for 198 yards and a pair of TDs for Tennessee, which takes a 9-and-7 record into a first-round game at New England. The 10-and-6 Texans rested several starters with the fourth-seed locked up. Houston backup AJ McCarron started and threw for 225 yards with a pick and ran for a touchdown. Duke Johnson scored on a one-yard plunge to cap off a 15-play. 75-yard drive on Houston's opening drive. The Texans will host Buffalo Saturday in the AFC Wild Card Round.
