An investigation is underway after an arsonist has evidently targeted a sergeant with the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office. Sheriff Troy Nehls said on Sunday that the sergeant's home has been attacked twice in five days. A week ago, somebody threw two Molotov cocktails at the sergeant's home, setting the front of it on fire. On Sunday, a Molotov cocktail destroyed a car in the sergeant's driveway. Nehls says the sergeant has been a homicide and robbery investigator for years, so the attacks may be retaliation for an earlier arrest.
