A pregnant woman was shot to death this afternoon in San Antonio, allegedly by the baby's father. Two other young children, 2 and 6 years old, were inside the home at the time of the shooting, but were not hurt. The shooting happened on the city's northwest side off Candle Park. The 24-year-old woman was less than one month away from her due date. The medical examiner has identified the woman as Gabriela Rodriguez. Her unborn baby also did not survive. After the shooting, the 27-year-old shot himself and is now in critical condition. The woman's new boyfriend was reportedly in a vehicle outside the house and called police after hearing the gunshots.
