San Antonio's new aviation director comes to the job from his position as the chief operating officer for the Houston Airport System. City Manager Erik Walsh on Thursday announced that Jesus Saenz will take over on February 3rd. Saenz has been overseeing all aspects of the management of Bush Intercontinental Airport, Hobby Airport, and the Houston Spaceport. He'll direct phase two of the San Antonio International Airport System Strategic Development Plan. Current aviation director Russ Handy steps down at the end of this year.
