House Passes $738 Billion Defense Bill

The House has passed a $738 billion defense policy bill that will provide the first paid family leave for all federal workers as well as the creation of a Space Force.

The establishment of the U.S. Space Force would be the sixth Armed Service of the United States and would operate under the Air Force.

The chamber voted by 377-48 on the National Defense Authorization Act or NDAA, and it looks like the Senate is poised to pass it by the end of next week.
