A federal judge in El Paso is blocking the use of Pentagon funding to build the Trump administration's border wall. Yesterday, Western District of Texas U.S. Federal Judge David Briones ruled the executive branch cannot pay for wall construction using some shuffled military funds approved by the Department of Defense in September. The suit is brought by El Paso County and the Border Network for Human Rights with pro-bono legal assistance provided by the Protect America Project.
