DHS May Require Citizens Be Photographed at Airports

Get ready to have your picture taken each time you pass through airport security.

The federal government is considering regulations that would require everyone, including U.S. citizens, to be photographed as they enter or leave the country.

This would be part of a system that uses facial-recognition technology and officials with the Department of Homeland Security say they plan to publish the proposed rule next July.
