A federal lawsuit is being filed over the killing of a six-year-old by Bexar County Sheriff's deputies. Kameron Prescott's family announced the suit today with their attorney saying they just want answers into the boy's 2017 shooting death. Deputies were chasing a suspected car thief at the time and shot her to death outside the boy's mobile home in Schertz. The suit claims deputies shot the suspect, waited a few seconds for her to fall down, then opened fire again. It is not known how much money the Prescott family is asking for. Sheriff Javier Salazar had previously called what happened a tragic accident.
