A Confederate monument that stood for over 112 years was removed from a North Carolina courthouse this week.
The bronze statue of a Confederate soldier was removed overnight from outside the Chatham County courthouse after county commissioners voted to remove it back in August.
The statue will reportedly be kept in storage until a "more appropriate" location is found.
