Santikos Enterprises has announced plans to build a new movie-theater in the Leon Springs. The new theater will be built in the new Boerne Stage Crossing Shopping Center development northwest of I-10 and Boerne Stage Road.
“We are thrilled to make this announcement of expansion in our community,” stated Tim Handren, CEO of Santikos Enterprises. “John Santikos left a giant legacy here in San Antonio, and what makes our theaters incredibly unique is that 100% of our profits are given back to the community through the San Antonio Area Foundation. No other theater chain in the country is that focused on the San Antonio area. Santikos currently has 2 of the top 10 theaters in Texas right here in San Antonio: Casa Blanca and The Palladium. The announcement of this expansion and the continued giving back to this area is exactly what John Santikos intended when he entrusted his company to the community through the San Antonio Area Foundation.”
Santikos says this location is part of a bigger strategy to further expand over the next five years, saying they plan to announce the next location very soon.
