A heritage group is suing a number of state agencies and individuals involved in the Alamo Restoration Project. The Alamo Defenders Descendants Association filed suit on Monday against the Texas General Land Office, the Texas Historical Commission, the Alamo Trust, Douglass McDonald, Mark Wolfe, and George P. Bush. Lee Spencer White, president of the group that filed suit, says they hope to obtain a temporary restraining order and an injunction to stop the construction project.
