Three Republicans and one Democrat from Texas will be part of the impeachment hearings that start today. Democrat Joaquin Castro of San Antonio is on the House Intelligence Committee along with Republicans Will Hurd of Helotes, John Ratcliffe of Heath, and Mike Conaway of Midland. Hurd and Conaway aren't planning to run for reelection in 2020. Energy Secretary Rick Perry, the former governor of Texas, is refusing a subpoena to testify before the committee.
