Castro remains in race after hitting fundraising goal

Julian Castro lives to fight another day. Castro's campaign announced that he raised enough money over the past couple of weeks to remain in the Democratic presidential race. The former U.S. housing secretary took in more than 800-thousand-dollars. He had warned that he would have to drop out without a jump in fundraising dollars. Castro has struggled to get traction in the crowded Democratic field. Castro was the youngest member of President Obama's Cabinet. He is a former mayor of San Antonio.
