Spurs Top Knicks In NBA Season Opener

LaMarcus Aldridge scored 22 points and Bryn Forbes 20 as the Spurs beat the Knicks 120-111 in the season opener in San Antonio. Dejounte Murray, who missed last season with a torn ACL, contributed 18 points to the win. The Spurs outscored the Knicks by 10 in the fourth quarter. RJ Barrett, the second overall pick in the draft, scored 21 points for the Knicks in his NBA debut. Marcus Morris led New York scorers with 26 points, while Julius Randle finished with 25 points and 11 boards.
