Texas Health Resources patients may have gotten their medical bills sent to the wrong person. The North Texas-based hospital group says around 82-thousand patients possibly had their name, account number, health insurer, and other data exposed over the summer. They're calling it a billing misconfiguration and say there's no indication Social Security numbers or financial information were made public. The health chain will send letters to patients who may have been impacted by what happened.
