As it turns out, voters won't find a Clinton on the ballot in November 2020.
Chelsea Clinton on Wednesday shot down rumors that say she's been prepping for a Congressional run in a quest to fill a soon-to-be vacated seat by retiring Representative Nita Lowey. "I understand why people are asking, and someone has asked me some version of this question for literally as long as I can remember," the famous offspring said in an appearance on "The View." She added, "I'm not considering running for Congress."
However, the 39-year-old's refusal to run doesn't mean a future political career is out of the question. Asked if she'll ever seek elected office, Clinton replied, "I don't know, but right now the answer is no."
