Rangers Close Out Stadium With Victory

The Rangers beat the Yankees 6-1 in their final game at Globe Life Park, their home stadium for 26 years. Lance Lynn struck out 10 and allowed two hits while working into the eighth inning to earn his career-high 16th win. Ronald Guzman drove in a pair of runs, while Elvis Andrus contributed two hits, scored a run and stole two bases. The Rangers ended with a 78-and-84 record, their third straight losing season. Aaron Judge homered for the Yankees' run. New York third baseman Gio Urshela left in the fourth inning with a left ankle sprain, but said he should be able to play in the Division Series, which begins Friday against the Twins. The Yankees finished the regular season with a 103-and-59 record.
