Prosecutors in North Texas believe a former police officer acted irresponsibly when she shot and killed a man inside his apartment. Dallas County prosecutors told jurors this morning Amber Guyger failed to recognize all the signs she was on the wrong floor shortly before shooting Botham Jean to death last fall. They also argued Guyger "went in commando" even though Jean wasn't a threat. Guyger says she believed she was in her own apartment when she killed Jean. She could get life in prison, if convicted of murder.
