President Trump is calling a Washington Post story of a whistleblower complaint "fake news." The Post reported that a complaint was filed after Trump made a promise to a foreign leader in a phone call that disturbed the intelligence officer. The newspaper said the House Intelligence Committee is investigating. Trump tweeted this morning that he knows anytime he speaks to a foreign leader there may be many people listening. He wrote "knowing all of this, is anyone dumb enough to believe he would say something inappropriate on such a 'heavily populated' call?" He claimed he would only do what is right anyway.
