New York Establishes 9-11 Remembrance Day

New York Governor Cuomo is signing legislation establishing a September 11th Remembrance Day. The new law allows for a brief moment of silence in public schools across the state, at the start of the school day, on every September 11th. The governor adds it will encourage dialogue and education in the classroom to ensure future generations understand the 9-11 terrorist attacks and their place in history. Cuomo say it's important to do everything we can to keep the memory of those lost alive.
