President Trump is launching the new U.S. Space Command. During an event in the Rose Garden, Trump called it a landmark day. The launch of the Space Command is a step toward creation of a U.S. Space Force. Trump called it another new chapter in the extraordinary history of the U.S. military. Air Force General John Raymond will run U.S. Space Command.
