San Antonio Zoo Says “Thank You” to Police, Fire, & EMT with FREE Admission

The San Antonio Zoo is saying thank you to emergency responders with free admission during September.

In a news release, the Zoo said, "They have our backs, so we have theirs – San Antonio Zoo is showing appreciation for current police officers, fire fighters, and EMTs in Texas and is offering them free admission for the month of September. During Police, Fire, & EMT Appreciation Month presented by H-E-B, these community heroes will enjoy free admission (with proper ID) and four guests can receive 50% off the standard admission tickets on the day of their visit from September 1 through September 30."

'With the generous help from community partners, H-E-B and Warriors Heart, this offer pays tribute to the unsung heroes of our Texas community who often sacrifice family time in order to serve and protect us. Our police, fire, and EMT professionals work tirelessly to ensure that our community is safe,” said Tim Morrow, San Antonio Zoo’s President & CEO. “Offering them and their families the opportunity to relax and enjoy the zoo is our way of saying thank you for serving our city, county, and state.”

As a bonus, police, fire, and EMT professionals will get to enjoy the first two weekends of Zoo Boo!, a non-scary daytime Halloween event for the whole family.
