Ariel Jurado allowed two hits over six innings in the Rangers' 3-0 shutout of the Angels in Anaheim. Nick Solak singled in a run in the sixth and Isiah Kiner-Falefa doubled home two more in the eighth. Jose Leclerc worked a spotless ninth for his ninth save to complete the three-hitter. Patrick Sandoval allowed one hit and struck out nine in five scoreless innings in a no-decision. Kole Calhoun had two of the three LA hits. Shohei Ohtan doubled in the first inning for the Angels, who have lost six-of-seven. Mike Trout did not play.
