A six-month-old immigrant child is in the hospital after crossing the Rio Grande River with her father. The baby girl and her dad were among a group of 20-or so immigrants who crossed the river and entered the country near Roma Saturday. Border Patrol agents took them all into custody and after a medical screening at the Roma Port of Entry the child was hospitalized in Edinburg. She is now listed in critical condition after being transferred to the Driscoll Children's Hospital in Corpus Christi where she remains with her father by her side. There is no word on the nature of her condition.
