White Sox Outslug Astros

James McCann's grand slam in the eighth inning broke a nine-all tie as the White Sox outslugged the Astros 13-9 in Chicago. Eloy Jimenez added a solo shot, while Jose Abreu and Welington Castillo drove in two runs apiece for the Sox, who took two-of-three in the series. Tim Anderson had four hits, scored a pair of runs and drove in one for Chicago. Alex Colome earned the win. Yuli Gurriel homered twice and plated three runs and Jose Altuve hit a game-tying two-run homer in the top of the eighth for Houston, which has dropped three-of-four on the heels of an eight-game winning streak. Ryan Pressly took the loss.
